The entire American music industry proved one more time it’s tenacious resolve to achieving coalition objectives during its premier award ceremony on November 22, 2009.

The 2009 event in which all the genres of American music were represented was as geo-politicized as previous industry award shows: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. Most remarkable was the fact that the coalition’s most Geo Award celebrated and extraordinarily prolific contributor, Taylor Swift, swept the event, including receiving the coveted ‘Artist of the Year’. This replicates her country music award success in which she won in every category she was nominated, including ‘Entertainer of the Year’. Producers knew in advance she was going to win the AMA’s most prestigious award so when profiling the nominees for the last time replaced in the compilation the previous clip of her new hit single ‘Fifteen’ with an excerpt from the Geo Award nominated song ‘Change ’ – the coalition’s official anthem.

Producers of the three-hour show turned the stage into a geo-platform as has every award show since early 2008. The colors of Chinada and the prison certainty communiqué were well represented throughout the event.
